They emit green particles downward, which spread after a while and gather around the spore blossom in a small radius, flying through the air. Spore blossoms can be placed only on the underside of any block except leaves. Harvesting a spore blossom with shears consumes the durability of the shears for no additional benefit. Spore blossoms can be broken instantly with any item or by hand. In Bedrock Edition, Lush Caves generate randomly when enabling experiments toggle in development versions. In Java Edition, Lush Caves can generate using the buffet or custom world type.
As a result, they are obtainable only in Creative or through the Experimental toggle. Unlike the other Lush blocks included in Part I of Caves & Cliffs, there is no way to obtain spore blossoms outside their biome, which does not generate in normal worlds. Spore blossoms can be found only in the Lush Caves biome.
